We've tried to make this site easy to use but sometimes a little more explanation is in order. We've listed some of the most common questions and answers below. If you need more help, please use our contact form to let us know.

How do I become a member? Click the link below the member login box Sign up free and start sharing your projects!
On the signup page enter your email address, a user name and a password. Read the terms of use and check the box to accept them, followed by the signup button.
Once this is done you will receive an email from us to activate your account. You are now a member and can start showing off your projects and hobbies.
Do I have my own homepage so my friends can go right to my projects? Yes, your homepage is www.projectsbyu/ your user id this will take them right to your homepage. For example if your login id was Projects55 your homepage would be www.projectsbyu.com/projects55 .
How to a post my first project? When you first sign in you will come to your projects page, click the link Add Project.
Enter a name for your project
Click the link to select a category and sub category for your project. If there is not a suitable category for your project place it in other/everything else and we will move it as soon as a category is added for your project.
Enter a short description in the description box.
In the first entry window type in the details of your project.
To add images click the add image link, a pop up window appear and click browse to locate the image on your computer. You can also ender a short caption to appear below the image, and then click update to load the image onto your project. You can add up to 6 images to your project.
Once you have all your photos and text entered click save to add your project to the site. You will then be taken back to your projects page and you will see your project listed.
Can I add more than one project? Yes
How do I edit my project? On you're project page click on the project you wish to edit, you can then do one of the following
Edit Project: change the name, description and add and delete images. You can also change an image by clicking edit under the image you want to change then selecting a new one off your pc. They is very useful if you want to update the first image that we use as a thumbnail for your project..
Delete Project: Deletes project from site, you will be asked it you are sure you want to do this.
Add Entry: Add new date stamped entry or log to your projects page.
Edit Entry: Edit existing post on your project.
Delete Entry: Delete post on your project.
Why isn't my new project showing up in the search? New projects take up to 12 hours to show up in the search. However, the project is available by browsing the categories and will show up in the Newest Projects list right away.
How do a add a project to my favorites? Click the small red hart on the users project page to add the project to your favorites. Click on it again to remove it from your favorites.
Click on my favorites when logged in to view all your favorite projects and click email settings within that page to receive email updates on those projects. You will only receive one email per day which will list any changes to all your favorite projects.
How do I contact you? If you ever need to get in touch with us, just fill out our contact form. We'll get back to you right away.
Can I advertiser on your site? If you believe your product or service is right for our community, let us know by filling out the contact form. A representative will contact you with further information.
